We are a leading company in the sustainable cosmetics industry, and we are looking for a QESH Manager to strengthen our team.

Your Role:

As a QESH Manager, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our quality, safety, energy, and environmental systems. You play a crucial role in ensuring our high standards and certifications, such as GMP ISO 22716, and contribute to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment. You will report directly to the management and collaborate closely with various teams to optimize our processes.

Your main responsibilities include:

Quality and Certification:
  • Maintaining and obtaining quality certifications and keeping the Quality Manual up to date.

  • Conducting and guiding internal and external audits.

  • Ensuring follow-up on actions from audits and deviations.

  • Improving quality processes and increasing quality awareness within the organization.

Safety and Health:
  • Promoting a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

  • Developing and implementing plans such as RI&E (Risk Inventory & Evaluation) and First Aid (BHV).

  • Investigating and analyzing accidents and incidents to take preventive measures.

  • Acting as Head of First Aid (BHV) and prevention officer.

Environment and Energy:
  • Developing and implementing policies regarding sustainability, environmental, and energy management.

  • Developing and implementing waste management plans and energy efficiency programs.

Team Management and Collaboration:
  • Managing the QA/QC team (3 FTE).

  • Planning and conducting quality controls, validations, and risk assessments.

  • Working on improvement projects and process optimization within the organization.

What we are looking for:

  • A completed quality-oriented education at least at a higher vocational (HBO) level.

  • At least 5 years of proven experience with quality, safety, and environmental systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., GMP, Occupational Health and Safety Act).

  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • A proactive, pragmatic, and process-oriented work attitude.
